The Egyptian School affiliated with the Egyptian Cultural Office in London was established in 1976 AD That is, almost half a century.
The school was distinguished in the beginning by being the first and only source (at that time) for linking the people of the country – and even other Arab communities (located in the British capital, London) – with their Egyptian and Arab customs, cultures, and identity. Over the course of those decades, the school was filled with the participation of large numbers of students of the Egyptian curriculum. The school was unique throughout that period, as it was the only school in Britain that had the lead in teaching the Arabic language in general, and the entire Egyptian curriculum (Our Children Abroad) in particular.
In addition, during that period, it had the opportunity to hold exams for all stages and grades, (from the first primary to the second secondary) according to the (Our Children Abroad) system, which was under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt.
This exam was held annually at the level of all Egyptian embassies abroad around the world.
This provided the opportunity for the children of students, as well as those on scholarship (outside the country), to be able to enrol their children in the appropriate academic classes, so that they do not lose years of study during their scholarship or work outside Egypt.

The school was attracted by the strength of its curricula, its commitment to the Egyptian curricula, and its known level of higher level than its counterparts in the European curricula, especially the British one, by at least two years in the subjects (mathematics and science).
The school is pleased to have a group of the best teachers with long experience in both British and Egyptian schools.
The school administration has introduced a levels system in order to facilitate obtaining the highest grades in English schools. This is through teaching GCSE curriculum, for (mathematics, science, and Arabic language) for those who wish to do so.
What is more important than this for Egyptians and Arabs residing in Britain is to teach religious education, both Islamic and Christian, in order to connect our children to their religion with the participation of students who belong to similar customs and cultures.
We find that the students at the school are proud of their belonging to it and are very loving and connected to it, in addition to forming charity and a social life throughout those periods and until now.
As for the Cultural Office, in addition to managing and arranging various cultural and religious activities, those responsible for its administration worked to support the school with all the strength of the office, as well as the Egyptian Consulate and Embassy.
The school has been under the supervision of the Egyptian Cultural Office in London since its inception until now. The Egyptian Cultural Advisor in London is the one who sets the school’s policies, followed by the school director, who implements the policies of the Cultural Office.
